Memorial Day isn’t just any regular day where you sit outside in hot beaming sun catching a tan or throwing a Rib eye steak on the grill to hear it sizzle as kids run around cheering and playing in the waters.
Every year, Memorial Day is held on the last Monday of May the 28th. It is also considered as a federal holiday, therefore, many places are closed causing people to have cookouts and enjoying themselves on the beach.
But in reality Memorial Day is an important day to American families who celebrate this day not because of lost men, but because such men has ever lived and served to make us feel as safe as we do today. It is a day where people remember those who no longer accompany us physically but rather spiritually, always there for us. It is a day for those who have fought for our freedom and sacrificed their lives so we, you and I can freely live with no concerns of danger in the United States of America!
On Memorial Day it is a day where we honor those who gave their lives and sacrificed it all to defend this country, an amazing place where we can live and be at peace!
They have put their lives on the line for you, so please a moment of silence in honor of our beloved soldiers!
